Managing Personnel in Public Sector

Augustine Nduka Eneanya (Ph.D) is an associate professor in the department of political science, university of Lagos, Yaba – Lagos. He has 30 years of practical experience in both the private and public sector. Within 18 years, he worked in the private sector as a human resources manager at four different companies and was later elevated to general manager. He also managed a management consulting firm for four years before joining the academia. Eneanya has worked at the University of Lagos for 16 years as a lecturer in the department of political science, specializing in public administration and Public Policy.

Dr. Eneanya is a member of many professional associations, among them are the chartered Institute of management, fellow, institute of management consultants of Nigeria (FIMC), American society of public administration (ASPA) and association of American policy analysis and management (AAPAM). Dr. Eneanya has published twelve (12) text-books, two foreign edited books; a commissioned textbook titled social policy on poverty and inequality based on royalty. And more than fifty (50) scholarly articles in local and international journals. He was awarded the “distinguished scholarship award” by the Zambia society of public administration, Lusaka Zambia. In December 6 2016 for the impact of his books in public administration. Dr. Augustine Eneanya is married with kids.
